Round up your family for a stick-to-your-ribs burger inspired by Canada's Calgary Stampede.


Ingredients
1 12 lbs (675 g)
lean ground beef
14 cup
rolled oats
1 tbsp
1 - 3 tsp
chipotle chili, or your favourite hot sauce
14 cup
ketchup

Preparation
  1. Combine all ingredients and mix well.
  2. With water-moistened hands, form mixture into 1” thick patties.
  3. Place patties on a barbecue grill over medium-high heat. Close lid and cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Flip patties and top with prepared barbecue or grilling sauce, then continue to cook for an additional 5 minutes, or until an instant-read thermometer indicates a food-safe internal temperature of 160° F (71° C).
Tips

Top burgers with spoonfuls of barbecue or grilling sauce, or Epicure Cha-Cha Chili. A great way to use up leftovers!
