Ingredients


Makes: 4 servings
  • 1 lb (450 g) boneless, skinless chicken thighs, about 6
  • 1 Tbsp (15 ml) Shish Kebab Seasoning
  • 1/4 prepared
  • 4 buns, split and toasted
  • 1/4 C BBQ Sauce Mix, prepared
  • 4 C (1 L) mixed leafy greens

Preparation


 
  • Combine seasoning and oil in a bowl or resealable bag. Add chicken; coat well. Let marinate in fridge for at least 15 minutes or overnight.
  • Skewer 3 chicken thighs horizontally on 3 metal skewers. Repeat with the remaining chicken and skewers. Grill over medium heat about 3–5 minutes per side, or until lightly charred and cooked through.
  • Place on a platter and brush with finishing sauce. Serve on warm buns spread with BBQ Sauce, leafy greens, and your favourite toppings.

Topping Suggestions (optional): grilled peppers, sliced tomatoes and cucumbers, pickles, sliced cheddar or havarti, grilled onions, sliced avocado.
