Blue Cheese and Onion Cheese Ball
Make into a cheese ball or simply roll into a ‘log’. Perfect when served with Epicure’s Pinot Noir Wine Jelly.
Ingredients
Makes: 1 cheese ball (approx. 24 servings)
- 1 — 8 oz brick light cream cheese
- 1 C (250 ml) crumbled blue cheese
- 1 tsp (5 ml) Worcestershire sauce
- 2 Tbsp (30 ml) 3 Onion Dip Mix
- 1 C (250 ml) pecan or walnut crumbs
Preparation
- Combine cream cheese, blue cheese, Worcestershire sauce and 3 Onion Dip Mix.
- Form into ball or log.
- Roll in nuts to coat.
Tip
Chef Tip: Cheese balls can be frozen for up to 1 month. Unwrap and thaw to room temperature before serving with crackers or bread.
